A three-screen art cinema in the heart of Prague, built in 1918 beneath the Světozor passage in the Art Nouveau Palace of the Czech Bank (designed by Osvald Polívka). After a period as a cabaret it returned to cinema use in 1957, and since 2004 has operated as a premiere art-house cinema. It screens quality European and non-European films, documentaries, and experimental genres. The main hall seats 356, with two smaller halls seating 70 and 50.
