In the heart of the tranquil Vosges forests, where lynxes, bears and deer roam freely, Vincent Munier accompanies his father on his expeditions. He not only seeks to capture the visual wonders of this forest kingdom, but also aims to make its sounds audible. Every whisper of the forest is a reminder of the knowledge of nature that his father once imbued in him – knowledge that Vincent now passes on to his own son. Dom La Nena is a Brazilian-French musician and composer who blends classical music, folk, and chanson. She plays cello and is known for her intimate, poetic sound. For the 2025 documentary Šepot lesa (Le Chant des forêts), she composed the score together with Rosemary Standley.
Rosemary Standley is a French-American singer best known as the lead vocalist of the French band Moriarty, whose sound blends folk, country, and blues. She has pursued a solo career alongside collaborations with various artists and composers, including work on film soundtracks.
The Snow Leopard (La Panthère des neiges, 2021) is a French documentary directed by Marie Amiguet and Vincent Munier. It follows wildlife photographer Munier and writer Sylvain Tesson on a quest to spot the elusive snow leopard in the Tibetan highlands. The film won the César Award for Best Documentary.
