Fifty-five-year-old Gabrielle (Léa Drucker) is devoted to her work body and soul. As a surgeon and head of a department in a public hospital, she constantly runs back and forth trying to manage all her responsibilities. She has little time left for her private life - she has a husband who loves her and a mother she must care for. When a writer arrives at her department for several weeks to gather material for her book, her inner balance begins to shake. In her everyday life, which she has carefully built, there has been no room for anything unexpected so far.
