Five Plums

Vera lives alone, and it seems life has nothing left to offer her. She misses the days when she used to travel to the sea with friends – but all that remains of the old group are fragments, and it is unclear whether they could even manage such an adventure.

Yet she yearns to set sail once more together on the open sea toward idyllic coves and sunsets. The greatest threat to the expedition will turn out to be neither the sea nor the old grievances that surface along the way, but their own children, who cannot understand this mad journey of their elderly parents.
