Lidový dům Karlovy Vary (nicknamed "liďák") is a community cultural centre in the Stará Role district, founded around 1912. It is the only functioning venue of its kind in Karlovy Vary, hosting concerts, balls, conferences, exhibitions and corporate events. In the 20th century its hall was also used for film screenings during the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Following a renovation completed in 2010, the venue is equipped with professional audiovisual technology.
