Tublatanka, a Slovak rock group, will perform at Lidový dům Karlovy Vary on Saturday, 3 April 2027 at 19:30. The concert is one of nine dates the band has scheduled across the Czech Republic as part of their tour. Lidový dům, located in the Stará Role district, is one of Karlovy Vary's oldest functioning cultural venues, with roots dating back to 1912. The hall hosts concerts, balls, conferences and exhibitions, making it a natural gathering place for live music.

About the venue: People's House Karlovy Vary

Lidový dům Karlovy Vary (nicknamed "liďák") is a community cultural centre in the Stará Role district, founded around 1912. It is the only functioning venue of its kind in Karlovy Vary, hosting concerts, balls, conferences, exhibitions and corporate events. In the 20th century its hall was also used for film screenings during the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Following a renovation completed in 2010, the venue is equipped with professional audiovisual technology.

About: Tublatanka

Formed in Bratislava in 1982 by guitarist-vocalist Maťo Ďurinda and drummer Juraj Černý, Tublatanka rose to prominence as one of Czechoslovakia's leading hard rock acts during the 1980s. Their third album Žeravé znamenie osudu (1988) achieved sales of 250,000 copies, while their track "Pravda víťazí" gained recognition as an unofficial symbol of the Velvet Revolution. The trio of Ďurinda, Juraj Topor and Peter Schlosser released the album Uprostred chaosu in 2023 and maintains an active touring schedule throughout the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
