The concert series "Tribute to Petr Hapka" presents his songs and film compositions in new arrangements prepared by Petr Malásek and Haštal Hapka. Key creative collaborators of Petr Hapka take turns on stage, accompanied by a band and symphony orchestra.

The songs are performed by Michal Malátný, Jitka Čvančarová, Kateřina Marie Tichá, Hana Holišová, Lenka Nová, Petra Hapková, Jan Maxián, Dušan Kollár, Petra Hřebíčková, Jan Sklenář and other prominent figures from the Czech and Slovak music scene.

About the venue: Multifunctional Hall Gong

GONG is a multifunctional cultural centre in Ostrava's Dolní oblast Vítkovice district, created by converting a 19th-century gasometer. Its steel frame and glazed roof now host concerts, conferences, exhibitions and corporate events. The building is part of the wider Vítkovice industrial complex, a protected national cultural monument.
