Jitka Čvančarová (born 23 March 1978 in Mělník) is a Czech actress, singer and philanthropist. She trained in musical theatre at JAMU in Brno and built her career across theatre, film and television, earning international recognition for her role in Václav Marhoul's war drama The Painted Bird (2019), which earned her a Czech Lion nomination. She also serves as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and patron of the rare-disease charity DEBRA CR.
Čvančarová plays one of the leading roles in the comedy Magic Derby (premiere July 17, 2025), where she sang the final duet Opposites with Ondřej Sokol.
The film Magic Derby, in which Čvančarová plays a lovesick Prague councilwoman, was included in Netflix's offering.
Čvančarová became the new ambassador of the Volvo brand in the Czech Republic.
For the first time, she took on theatrical direction - she staged the drama The Swallow by Spanish author Guillem Cluy, in which she also played the leading role.
