A tribute to Radim Hladík takes place at Barrák Music Club in Ostrava-Přívoz on Tuesday, 1 December 2026 at 19:30. The jazz-rock project Nová syntéza featuring Blue Effect, CBC Big Band, and special guests will perform compositions from the cult albums of the 1970s written by Radim Hladík. Barrák is housed in a former Sokol building on Fügnerova Street and operates as a multi-genre music club managed by Marcel Palovčík. This concert is one of two Czech dates for the project in 2026.

About the venue: Barrák

Barrák Music Club is a multi-genre music club in Ostrava, run by Marcel Palovčík. Since September 2023 it has been located in the Ostrava-Přívoz district in a former Sokol gymnasium on Fügnerova street, having relocated from its original premises on Havlíčkovo nábřeží for capacity reasons. The club hosts concerts by Czech and international acts spanning metal, hardcore, punk, rock, pop, and hip hop. Past performers include Fear Factory, Madball, and Sick Of It All.
