Petr Hapka – Recital
An evening celebrating the songs and film music of composer Petr Hapka, featuring a stellar lineup of soloists and orchestra at the Summer Stage of the Holešovice Exhibition Grounds.
Hana Holišová (born 6 August 1980 in Brno) is a Czech actress and singer who grew up in a musical family - her father Evžen Holiš was a conductor and répétiteur at the Brno National Theatre, her mother Hana Horká a soloist in its operetta ensemble. She trained in drama at JAMU and spent nearly two decades as a leading performer at Brno City Theatre, taking on a wide range of musical and straight-theatre roles. She has won the Thalia Award for musical theatre twice - in 2013 for the title role in Papežka and in 2023 for her portrayal of Marta Kubišová in the recital Marta at the Letní scéna Musea Kampa in Prague. TV audiences know her from the long-running series Ulice (TV Nova) and from winning the 2016 season of Tvoje tvář má známý hlas.
Holisova joined the Human Zoo - Gospelova Anarchie project at Prague's Nova Spirala alongside Matej Ruppert, Ondrej Rumla and others.
The actress celebrated her 45th birthday and the media reminded that she commutes between Brno and Prague, where she is employed by theatre and television careers.
After the summer season with daily reruns of the recital Marta at the Summer Stage of the Kampa Museum, Holisova returned to guest performances at the Brno Municipal Theatre and prepared autumn concerts.
At the Plzen Theatre J. K. Tyla, the Czech premiere of Sondheim's musical Company (Friends) took place, where Holisova as the only guest actress played the role of Joanne.
At the 30th annual Thalia Awards at the National Theatre in Prague, Holisova received her second Thalia in the musical category for the role of Marta Kubisova in the production Marta.
