Inquisition is an American black metal duo with Colombian roots, consisting of Dagon (vocals, guitar) and Incubus (drums). Founded in Cali, Colombia around 1988-89, the band relocated to Washington State in 1996 and has kept the same lineup ever since. Over more than three decades they have released nine studio albums, carving out a firm place in the underground with their hypnotic, cosmically-themed black metal.
Inquisition completed the European tour 'Deadly Alliance Tour 2025' together with Swedish Demonical - stops included Plzeň, Budapešť, Košice and Varšavu.
The band released their ninth studio album 'Veneration of Medieval Mysticism and Cosmological Violence' on January 26, 2024 on the Agonia Records label.
The album was recorded at Robert Lang Studios in Washington in December 2022 and mixed by Alejandro Corrector in Los Angeles.
