Belphegor + Krisiun + Asagraum
Austrian death/black metal Belphegor, Brazilian death metal Krisiun and Dutch-Finnish black metal Asagraum perform in Plzeň.
Belphegor are an Austrian blackened death metal band from Salzburg, active since 1991 - originally under the name Betrayer. The group is built around vocalist and guitarist Helmuth Lehner, who has steered it through twelve studio albums, most recently The Devils (2022) on Nuclear Blast. Their blend of death metal brutality and black metal ritual has earned them a global following and, in 2023, an Amadeus Austrian Music Award in the Hard & Heavy category.
Belphegor completed recording their 13th studio album, which will be released in the first quarter of 2027 by Reigning Phoenix Music.
The band launched the European tour 'Praise The Beast' with guests Krisiun and Asagraum; the series starts on September 29 in Essen and ends on October 18 in London.
Belphegor released the single 'Scarlet Beast - Leviathan' and launched the North American tour 'Praise The Beast' with bands Incantation, Hate and Narcotic Wasteland.
Belphegor signed a contract with Reigning Phoenix Music and released the single 'Sanctus Diaboli Confidimus'.
Belphegor returned to the North American tour after five years with bands Arkona, Hate and Vale of Pnath.
