About

Sargeist is a Finnish black metal band from Lappeenranta, founded in 1999 as a solo project by guitarist Shatraug of Horna. Vocalist Hoath Torog and drummer Horns, both from Behexen, later joined to form the stable core lineup. The band draws firmly from second-wave Scandinavian black metal - raw production, bleak atmosphere, and lyrics centered on Satanism and misanthropy. Their fifth full-length, Flame Within Flame, came out in May 2025 on World Terror Committee.
