Discopříběh 40 Years - Plzeň Returns to the Eighties!

The legendary film Discopříběh celebrates an incredible 40 years since its premiere in 2027 with a grand show at the Lochotín amphitheatre in Plzeň, the very place where the original premiere took place four decades ago. Over 20,000 spectators attended back then - and now both longtime fans and a new generation have the chance to experience that unique atmosphere again.

The evening will feature a special concert by Michal David & the band Kvatro, who have prepared an exclusive show featuring only songs from the film Discopříběh in original and new arrangements you won't hear anywhere else. The programme will be complemented by an open-air screening of the film. You can look forward to meeting the cast and other creators involved.

The programme begins at 19:00 and continues into the late evening hours. Visitors are encouraged to dress in 1980s style to create an authentic atmosphere of the era that gave birth to Discopříběh. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Anežka Foundation, adding a charitable dimension to the event.
