Litomyšl Fest 2026

The summer film and music festival Litomyšl Fest takes place for the second time — this year in its 13th edition. From Wednesday 29 July to Sunday 2 August, seven halls in the historic city centre will showcase over 80 films from around the world, while the Castle Hill hosts 12 concerts.

Four major evening concerts on the First Courtyard feature Tři sestry, Tata Bojs, Stromboli, and Vltava. Eight more intimate performances in the Castle Park include Mutantů hledaj východisko and Berenice Kohoutová, Jiří Schmitzer, Dunaj, The Prostitutes, Garage & Tony Ducháček, Jan Spálený, Točkolotoč, and Dorota Nvotová.

The supporting programme includes meetings and discussions with filmmakers, a media debate with public figures, talk shows with interesting guests, and a children's programme. The festival traditionally concludes with a special theatrical performance.

The festival's dramaturgy is overseen by director, producer, and main organiser Ondřej Trojan.
