About

Tři sestry (Three Sisters) are a Czech punk rock band from the Braník district of Prague, active since 1985. Over four decades they have released more than sixteen studio albums and built a reputation as one of the country's most durable live acts, with a style often labelled pub rock - sharp, ironic lyrics about beer and everyday life delivered over fast punk riffs. Frontman and lyricist Lou Fanánek Hagen (František Moravec) lost a leg in a 1986 accident but has led the band ever since, also writing songs for other Czech artists including Karel Gott and Lucie Bílá.
