Litomyšl Fest 2026
A summer film and music festival in Litomyšl combining over 80 films from around the world with 12 concerts by Czech music stars. Running from 29 July to 2 August in the historic city centre.
Stromboli is a Czech art-rock band founded in 1985 by guitarist Michal Pavlíček, initially as a trio for the Jazz Praha festival. From 1986 the lineup expanded to include vocalist Bára Basiková and keyboardist Vendula Kašpárková, blending jazz-rock, space rock and new wave into one of the defining sounds of 1980s Czechoslovak rock. Their 1987 debut double album became a cult record, and the band's first two releases sold over 200,000 copies combined. After disbanding around 1990, they reunited several times - releasing Fiat Lux in 2014 and touring extensively in 2022.
At the anniversary concerts of Michala Pavlíčka at the Prague O2 universum (January 28-29, 2026), the Stromboli repertoire was performed - Bára Basiková presented the compositions Carmen and Košilela.
Stromboli in their original lineup completed fourteen concert stops across Bohemia and Moravia, from Litomyšl (May 20) to Prague (June 30).
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary, the band released the album Fiat Lux and celebrated the jubilee with a major concert at the Prague O2 arena.
