Žižkárna is a cultural and creative centre and music club set in the former Žižka Barracks on Žižkova třída in České Budějovice. The neo-Renaissance barracks complex was built in 1890-1892 for Infantry Regiment No. 28 and renamed after the Hussite commander Jan Žižka after 1918. Today it hosts concerts across a wide range of genres - punk, metal, folk, techno and more - along with markets and other events from spring through autumn.
