KD Slavie is a cultural and creative centre on the bank of the Malše river, close to the historic centre of České Budějovice. The Neo-Renaissance building dates from 1871–1872 and is a listed cultural monument. Originally built as an association house for the German-speaking community of the city, it has been known as KD Slavie since 1993. It hosts concerts, theatre performances, balls, conferences and educational programmes.
