Jindřichův Hradec
Kulturní dům Střelnice (Střelnice Cultural House) is the main cultural venue in Jindřichův Hradec, located on Masarykovo náměstí. The building stands on the site of a former shooting range used by local marksmen, and an inn called Na Střelnici operated here from the 19th century. An amateur theatre ensemble was founded here in 1843, and the first Czech ball of the Národní beseda was held here in 1846. Today it offers a theatre hall with 551 seats, a cinema with DCI digital projection and 7.1 sound, a summer cinema, and a bowling alley.
