About the venue

The castle and château of Jindřichův Hradec ranks among the largest such complexes in Bohemia. A medieval Gothic fortress gradually transformed into a Renaissance residence, it is best known for its remarkable cylindrical chapel of St. Joachim, built at the end of the 16th century. The site hosts guided tours and seasonal cultural events throughout the year.
