About the venue

The castle and château of Jindřichův Hradec ranks among the largest such complexes in Bohemia. The Lords of Hradec gradually transformed the medieval fortress into a Renaissance residence, with the circular Rondel pavilion from the late 16th century as its most striking feature. The site hosts guided tours, summer festivals and open-air theatre performances.
