DKO has been Jihlava's main cultural venue since 1961, serving the Vysočina regional capital for over six decades. Originally run as DK ROH, it was restructured in 1992 into the independent company DKO s.r.o. The programme covers concerts across genres, theatre, opera, ballet, and exhibitions; the venue has also hosted screenings for the International Documentary Film Festival MFDF Jihlava since its early days. The main hall seats up to 750, the theatre hall 502, and the small stage 100.
