Queenie is a Prague-based Queen tribute band founded in 2006 by frontman Michael Kluch and drummer Michal Novák. Over two decades the band has played more than 1,400 concerts across 25 countries, describing their genre as 'concert theater' - performing in original keys with period costumes and elaborate staging. Kluch received a Thalia Award nomination for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury in the musical Freddie (2018), and the band was the first Czech tribute act to perform at the Freddie Mercury Montreux Memorial Day.
