Muzikály Naruby comes to Jihlava on Friday, 20 November 2026 at the Dům kultury DKO. Josef Vágner presents a concert show featuring the greatest hits from Czech and international musicals in new arrangements with a live band. This is one of nine Czech dates on the tour. The DKO has been a major cultural venue in the Vysočina region since 1961, providing an ideal setting for this type of performance. The concert offers a fresh interpretation of well-known songs in a form audiences have not heard before.

About the venue: DKO

DKO has been Jihlava's main cultural venue since 1961, serving the Vysočina regional capital for over six decades. Originally run as DK ROH, it was restructured in 1992 into the independent company DKO s.r.o. The programme covers concerts across genres, theatre, opera, ballet, and exhibitions; the venue has also hosted screenings for the International Documentary Film Festival MFDF Jihlava since its early days. The main hall seats up to 750, the theatre hall 502, and the small stage 100.

Prague-born Josef Vágner has been collecting musical roles since childhood and is now the face of Muzikály Naruby - a project he and colleagues Petr Ryšavý and Jan Kopečný have taken all the way to the O2 universum stage. Over his career he has released four solo albums and holds the 2007 Český slavík Discovery of the Year title.
