The Large Gothic Hall is located on the first floor of the Jihlava Town Hall on Masarykovo náměstí. The space is vaulted with a four-bay ribbed vault converging on a central polygonal pillar; the vault bays were decorated with inscriptions in 1561. In the 18th century the hall was partitioned and the vault concealed; during the 2004–2006 reconstruction it was restored to its original Gothic appearance, including the polychromy. Today it serves as a representative venue for cultural events, ceremonial occasions and guided tours of the town hall.
