About

Jan Kopečný (born 9 August 1989 in České Budějovice) is a Czech actor, singer, composer and lyricist. He first came to public attention in 2006 on the Czech edition of Pop Idol and has since played dozens of musical theatre roles - Romeo, Casanova, D'Artagnan among them. Since 2018 he has been one of two frontmen of the pop-rock band BOTOX, and together with Josef Vágner and Petr Ryšavý he co-created the Muzikály naruby concert show, which regularly sells out venues across the Czech Republic.
