Slovakian composer and saxophonist Laco Déczi brings his New York ensemble Celula New York to Garage Club in Ostrava on Thursday, 12 November 2026 at 20:00. This is one of two Czech dates on his tour. Garage Club occupies a converted former factory canteen of the Masokombinát in the Martinov district. The venue's retro interior evokes a 1960s auto workshop, anchored by a striking pink Volga convertible. The club hosts concerts, balls, and theatrical performances.

About the venue: Garage Club

Rock and Roll Garage Club in the Martinov district of Ostrava was built inside a former factory canteen. The retro interior styled after a 1960s car workshop centres on a pink Volha convertible as its signature piece. The venue hosts concerts, balls and theatre shows for up to 600 people, and has been brewing its own beer since 2013. A hotel and restaurant are part of the complex.
