Votvírák 2026

Festival Votvírák will not take place in 2026. The originally rescheduled 2025 edition, moved to 18–21 June 2026, will not be held in this alternative timeframe either. The cancellation is due to financial difficulties and organisational complications affecting the original organisers — Svět kultury s.r.o. (2025 edition), which is facing insolvency proceedings, and TI motion s.r.o. (2026 edition).

The festival is now transitioning to a new organising team with no ties to previous structures. A new edition is planned for 2027. Ticket holders from the affected editions will have the opportunity to reactivate their tickets free of charge.

Since 2007, the festival has been held annually at Boží Dar airfield in Milovice and focuses on Czech and Slovak acts in the genres of rock/hard & heavy, pop, hip hop, and electronic dance music. The 210-hectare site can accommodate up to 20,000 tents and parking for over 10,000 vehicles.
