Daniel Landa (born 4 November 1968, Prague) is a Czech rock singer, songwriter and actor who trained at the Prague Conservatory in the music-drama programme. He rose to prominence as the frontman of Orlík (1988-1991) and has since built a solo career spanning rock, folk and country, earning numerous gold and platinum records. Beyond music he writes musicals - most notably Krysař - and has appeared in Czech films and television.
Landa released a lyric video for the song Ukolébavka from the album Minový pole.
Akustická šňůra 2025 - a series of chamber concerts throughout the Czech Republic (October 31 - December 20, 2025) sold out completely.
For his 55th birthday, Landa performed a sold-out concert at the Prague O2 Arena with an expanded ensemble of over 20 musicians including a symphony orchestra.
After an eight-year hiatus, Landa released the studio album Minový pole (Warner Music / 2Landa), which contains protest songs, rock ballads, and his typical waltz.
The musical Krysař, authored by Landa, performed its two-thousandth show in 2023.
