Civilní Obrana is a Czech pop-punk band from Čáslav, formed in 2005 by students of the local industrial secondary school who started rehearsing in a former civil-defence warehouse - hence the name. The four-piece, fronted by Marek Calík, has released five studio albums and played hundreds of shows at major Czech festivals over two decades, gradually blending guitar-driven punk with electronic samples and melodic hooks.
The band released a music video for the single "Spolu napořád" from the album genCO and confirmed their largest concert to date - November 14, 2026 in the Grand Hall of Prague's Lucerna.
Civilní Obrana announced a Slovak concert date and presented the album genCO to the local audience.
On November 12, 2025, the fifth studio album genCO was released digitally; at the presentation in Lucerna Music Bar, the band simultaneously announced the planned Grand Hall of Lucerna for 2026.
Before the album release, the band published the singles "Dycky Rizz" and "Vyzenovanej" including an official music video.
