About

Chinaski is a Czech pop-rock band from Prague, founded in 1987 as Starý Hrady and renamed in 1994 as a nod to Charles Bukowski's alter ego. Led by singer Michal Malátný and guitarist František Táborský, the band has released 12 studio albums and played over 2,000 concerts. They won the Czech Anděl Award twice - in 2005 and 2007 - and are consistently ranked among the country's most popular acts.
