Bastard is a Czech hard rock band from Havířov, active since 1993. Their 1994 debut earned them the Monitor EMI 'discovery of the year' title and a slot as the sole support act on Kabát's nationwide tour. After a twenty-year hiatus they returned in 2015, releasing Druhá Müza (2020) - which placed third in Spark magazine's Album of the Year poll and caught the attention of Warner Music - and Alchymie d.n.a. (2022). In 2025 the band signed with Smile Music Records and is preparing a third studio album, V záhybech času.
