Krhanice Open Air is a one-day festival of extreme music (death metal, grind, thrash metal, hardcore) held annually on the football pitch of TJ Sokol Krhanice, approximately 35 km southeast of Prague. The festival typically starts at 13:00 and features around 10 bands on a single stage. For 2026, the death grind band FLESHLESS from Děčín has been announced as the first act.
The grounds are accessible from Saturday morning, with more adventurous visitors arriving Friday evening. Camping is available on an adjacent meadow next to the car park. Two food stalls serve hot and cold food, and there are plenty of seating areas including covered sections. The event takes place in all weather conditions.
Parking is available directly at the football pitch. Most visitors arrive by direct train from Prague (Main Station, Vršovice Station, or Braník Station) to the Krhanice stop.
