A tribute to Petr Hapka takes place on Wednesday, 9 December 2026 at the Multifunkční aula Gong in Ostrava. Michal Malátný presents Hapka's songs and film work in new arrangements prepared by Petr Malásek and Haštal Hapka. The Gong is a distinctive industrial venue in Ostrava's Dolní oblast Vítkovice district, converted from a 19th-century gas storage facility. The concert features key creative collaborators of Petr Hapka accompanied by an orchestra. This is the sole Czech date for this project.

About the venue: Multifunctional Hall Gong

GONG is a multifunctional cultural centre in Ostrava's Dolní oblast Vítkovice district, created by converting a 19th-century gasometer. Its steel frame and glazed roof now host concerts, conferences, exhibitions and corporate events. The hall holds several thousand visitors and forms part of the broader Vítkovice industrial heritage complex.
