Conversation with Tomás Treschanski
Argentine chef Tomás Treschanski is one of the most prominent figures in contemporary Latin American gastronomy. His restaurant Trescha in Buenos Aires earned a Michelin star immediately after opening and quickly attracted international attention as the best newcomer in the Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants ranking.
The conversation will explore Argentine identity and South America's cultural heritage in contemporary cuisine, experiences from world-class restaurants such as Frantzén and Azurmendi, and Tomás's approach to menu building, team leadership, and hospitality - including running a restaurant for just fifteen guests per evening. The discussion will also touch on culinary education and finding one's own culinary voice.
The conversation will be conducted in English with interpretation into Czech.
