Třebsínské zvonění 2026
A summer music festival in nature in the Posázaví region featuring live music and a welcoming atmosphere on a scenic meadow above Třebsín.
Žalman & spol. is a Czech folk band led by Pavel Lohonka (born 1946 in České Budějovice), who has been active since 1968 - first with the group Minnesengři. He founded his own band in 1982 under the name Žalmanův jihočeský výběr, soon renamed Žalman & spol. Over more than four decades Lohonka has released over twenty albums and written more than 250 songs, and is credited with reviving interest in South Bohemian folk songs.
Pavel Žalman Lohonka celebrates his 80th birthday with a series of anniversary concerts - the grand Prague evening took place on 26 April 2026 in the Great Hall of Lucerna with the participation of singer Pavlína Jíšová, Kubit's quartet and Robert Fischmann.
The birthday concert with guests took place on 12 June 2026 in the Loděnice Děhylov area near Ostrava; the anniversary tour continues with further stops in Bratislava and Banská Bystrica.
The České Budějovice newspaper reported on the sold-out birthday concert at DK Metropol in České Budějovice.
The band released a compilation album with twenty of the most beloved songs, which were selected by the fans themselves and which were re-recorded in the current lineup.
