Vlasta Redl is a Moravian singer, songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist born on 14 April 1959 in Nový Jičín. He began his career with the Zlín band AG Flek in 1983 and gained wider recognition writing songs for the group Fleret, including the 1986 Porta festival prize-winning song Letiště. His music blends Moravian and Slovak folk traditions with rock, jazz, blues and funk, and he has contributed to nearly 60 albums as a session player, arranger and producer.

    In June 2026, Redl will perform at the Mezi Sklepy festival in Mutěnice and at an open-air concert on Kravi hora in Brno.

    In August 2026, Redl is scheduled for the Hanácké Woodstock festival in Velká Bystřice and Vizovické Trnkobraní in Vizovice, as well as an open-air concert in Riegrovy sady in Prague.
