About

Nezmaři are a Czech folk group from České Budějovice, active without interruption since 1978 - making them one of the longest-running bands in their genre in the country. Their sound is built on acoustic instruments and close vocal harmonies, with a repertoire of mostly original songs alongside folk classics in Czech. They won the main prize at the Porta festival twice in the 1980s and twice received the Zlatý klíč award for best Folk & Country group of the year. Since 1993 they have performed professionally, playing over a hundred concerts a year across the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
