Michal Prokop & Framus Five: LIVE 80

Michal Prokop celebrates his eightieth birthday with a concert showcasing the work of both himself and the band Framus Five - from iconic songs "Battle for Charles Bridge", "Blues About Swallowed Words" and "College Yesterday" to newer tracks from recent albums.

Framus Five ranks among the most significant groups in Czech rock history. The band was founded in 1963 and has operated under its current name since 1967, when guitarist Michal Prokop first stepped up to the microphone as a vocalist. The band temporarily ceased operations twice - in 1971 and again in 1990, when Prokop entered politics. Following the release of the album "For the First and Last Time" in 2006, the band fully resumed concert activity.
