Mighty Sounds 2026
The 19th edition of Mighty Sounds festival at Tábor Airport features punk, ska, hardcore and rockabilly. Headliners include legends such as The Selecter, Pennywise, Agnostic Front and The Exploited.
The Exploited are a Scottish punk band from Edinburgh, formed in 1979, and one of the most enduring names of the UK's second punk wave. Frontman Wattie Buchan has led the band from the start, his red mohawk and uncompromising stance becoming iconic. Their 1981 debut Punks Not Dead topped the UK independent chart and reached number 20 nationally. Over the following decades the band shifted toward crossover thrash, with Fuck the System (2003) remaining their last studio record.
Wattie Buchan collapsed on stage during a performance in German Wiesbaden (January 31, 2026) and was hospitalized; the band cancelled upcoming concerts in Tallinn and Riga.
The band launched the '45 Years of Punks Not Dead' tour across Europe, North America, and South America.
Management announced that the South American tour in 2025 will be the last one the band will perform on this continent.
Wattie Buchan confirmed in an interview that he has written many new songs, but will only go to the studio when the material is one hundred percent ready.
😴 Nothing scheduled with this artist in the near future.
