About

Peter and the Test Tube Babies are a British punk band from Peacehaven, Sussex, founded in 1978 by vocalist Peter Bywaters and guitarist Derek "Strangefish" Greening. Their sardonic, working-class humour placed them in the "punk pathetique" subgenre, and their 1983 album The Mating Sounds of South American Frogs topped the UK independent charts. With more than a dozen studio records behind them and their latest album Fuctifano released in 2020, they remain one of the longest-running acts in British punk.
