Discharge is a British hardcore punk band from Cannock, England, active since 1977. Their abrasive, high-speed sound built on repetitive riffs and anti-war, anti-nuclear lyrics was hugely influential in shaping d-beat, crust punk, and thrash metal. Their 1982 album "Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing" is considered a landmark of punk history.
