Synkopy 61 is a Czech rock band founded in 1961 in Brno, one of the pioneers of beat music in Czechoslovakia. The group rose to prominence in the 1960s and 1970s and is closely associated with vocalist Vilda Majtner. Over their long career they have become an iconic name in Czech rock history.
