Karel Kahovec (born 8 November 1946 in Prague) is a Czech singer, guitarist and songwriter who rose to fame as the frontman of the group Flamengo in the late 1960s. Songs like Paní v černém, Svou lásku jsem rozdal and Poprava blond holky became cornerstones of Czech beat music. In the 1970s he sang with Country Beat Jiřího Brabce, scoring another hit with Modřínů háj, and since the 1990s he has performed as a member of George & Beatovens, carrying on the legacy of the late Petr Novák.
