Michal Prokop is a Czech singer, guitarist and composer best known for his work with the band Framus Five and his roots in blues, rock and soul. He launched his musical career in the 1960s and became one of the prominent figures of the Czech rock scene. He is a recipient of the French Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (1995) and has also worked as a broadcaster and politician.
