Slávek Janoušek (born Miroslav Janoušek, 9 September 1953, Ústí nad Orlicí) is a Czech folk singer-songwriter, guitarist and lyricist who has performed professionally since 1984. He won both the performance and songwriting prizes at the Porta festival (1984-1985), and his songs Halleyova kometa, Mumie and Imaginární hospoda have become folk classics. In recent years he has focused on setting the poetry of Jiří Žáček to music, resulting in four collaborative albums.

    Janoušek christened the new album Prožij sto životů with texts by Jiří Žáček at the poetic pub Balbínova in Prague, released for the poet's 80th birthday.

    The album Prožij sto životů was financed by crowdfunding and recorded from June to September 2025; it contains 17 songs with texts by Žáček.

    Radio Proglas included Janoušek's album Prožij sto životů in a program about set-to-music poetry as an example of long-term collaboration with Jiří Žáček.

    In March 2025, Janoušek performed with his entire band at the Community Center in Vlašim; the two-and-a-half-hour concert was met with a full house.

    For summer 2025, Janoušek has planned a series of festival performances, including at Portě 2025 in Řevnice and at the Slovak festival Fest dobré rybníky in Bojná.
