About

Druhá tráva is a Czech folk and Americana band founded in Brno in 1991 by singer-songwriter Robert Křesťan and banjo player Luboš Malina, both formerly of the group Poutníci. Despite the bluegrass label that often follows them, the band has always blended folk, country, rock and jazz. Over more than three decades they have released 21+ albums in the Czech Republic and the United States, tour America regularly, and have won multiple Anděl Awards in the Folk & Country category. In 2021, frontman Robert Křesťan was inducted into the Czech Music Academy Hall of Fame.
