Return of the Titans: Pilsen 2026
One-day metal festival featuring tribute bands celebrating heavy metal legends. At Bílej Medvěd beach, bands perform tributes to Bathory, Death, Pantera, Slayer, Sepultura, and Entombed.
Sepultura is a Brazilian heavy metal band formed in Belo Horizonte in 1984 by brothers Max and Igor Cavalera. They became one of the most influential metal acts of the late 1980s and 1990s, shaping thrash, groove and death metal while fusing the sound with Brazilian indigenous rhythms on landmark albums like Chaos A.D. and Roots. Over four decades the band toured more than 80 countries and earned 14 gold records. In December 2023 they announced a farewell tour; their final concert is set for 7 November 2026 in São Paulo.
Sepultura confirmed the date of the band's final concert in history: on November 7, 2026, they will perform in São Paulo at Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu.
The band released the final EP The Cloud of Unknowing (Nuclear Blast), recorded in January and February 2025 at Criteria studio in Miami.
Sepultura announced the final North American tour with bands Exodus and Biohazard, which started on April 29, 2026 in Montclair (NJ) and ended on May 29 in Los Angeles.
Drummer Eloy Casagrande left the band and joined Slipknot; his place was taken by 23-year-old Greyson Nekrutman, formerly a member of Suicidal Tendencies.
In December 2023, Sepultura announced the band's breakup and an 18-month worldwide farewell tour Celebrating Life Through Death on the occasion of the band's 40th anniversary.

Brazilian metal legends Sepultura perform at the Metalfest Open Air 2026 festival in the Lochotin amphitheater.
