About

Josip Plečnik (1872–1957) was a Slovenian architect who left a lasting mark on Prague, Ljubljana, and Vienna. From 1920 to 1934, invited by President T. G. Masaryk, he redesigned parts of Prague Castle, creating gardens, courtyards, and interiors. His work blends classical traditions with modernist sensibility.
